Access Control Systems

An increasing number of organisations of all sizes have been recognising the benefits of replacing key based locking systems with card or token based electronic access control solutions. AMC can design supply and install systems to meet any requirements from single video door entry systems to complex P.C based Access Control systems.

Why Use Access Control?

Access control allows you to decide who gains entry to your building, keys can also perform the same function, however when you lose a key you have the expense and inconvenience of replacements and possibly replacing locks. With access control you simply void a token or card from the system. Card readers can also be installed within car park barriers or turnstiles giving complete control over who gains access to your building.

With P.C - Based access control, all doors can be controlled from a central point giving greater flexibility. Users can be granted access through all doors on the system, or can be restricted from gaining access to sensitive areas such as computer rooms or data storage areas. Time zones can also be set within the system to allow users access at set times of the day. Report Data from the system is displayed on the PC allowing the controller to see at a glance ‘who is in today’ or if anyone has attempted unauthorised access by using an invalid card or token. PC based systems can also be used for time and attendance and Roll call and muster reporting.

Systems designed and installed and maintained by AMC can have a combination of the following:
