We recommend that fire alarm systems are monitored via our Alarm Receiving Centre giving you peace of mind that should a fire break-out the Fire Brigade will be summoned immediately.
AMC can provide a cost effective solution for all types of premises from Domestic Properties to large Hotels or Office Blocks. Our addressable systems range from single loop panels to multi loop panels that can be network together to provide a system to cover the largest of sites. Various types of detection devices are available including optical smoke detectors, heat detectors, combined smoke/heat detectors, HARSH detectors which are designed for hostile environments and VIEW sensors (Very Intelligent Early Warning) which is a detector so efficient it detects flaming fires as quickly as ionisation detectors, smouldering fires before photoelectric detectors, overheating before flaming and overheated PC board before charring. All of these detectors are compatible with our range of addressable panels and can provide protection for your most critical environments.
AMC Fire and Security also install fixed extinguishing systems which when activated automatically disperse gas within the protected room extinguishing the Fire Source. Aspirating systems are also part of our portfolio and provide early detection in areas such as computer rooms, cold rooms and museums.
Disabled Refuge Systems
Current Building Regulations insist all new commercial buildings with more than one floor provide ‘Refuge’ areas for wheelchair users and the disabled. Emergency Voice Communication Systems in these areas is essential to assist rescue services and to reassure people help is on the way. AMC can provide a range of Disabled Refuge Systems which are cost effective and meet the standards such as BS 5839 part 9.
As stated in the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations Fire Detection and alarms shall be subject to a suitable system of maintenance and be maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair. AMC Fire and Security can provide a full maintenance package to comply with BS5839 Part 1 2013.

The Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 replace previous fire safety legislation. The legislation places responsibility on employers and any other person with control of premises to assess the risk of harm from fire and to put in place fire safety measures.
